British metal gods Iron Maiden seek to renew their past fame with an old sound
Filled with tracks from Iron Maiden’s latest tour, Somewhere Back In Time, Flight 666: The Soundtrack is a live heavy metal album. It’s filled with screaming fans, roaring solos and the classic operatic vocals that Iron Maiden is famous for, but that’s about it. Classics like Run to the Hills and The Number of the Beast are performed in cities all across the globe. Fans of the band will enjoy it, and it makes a nice companion to Flight 666: The Film, but it certainly holds no appeal for those who aren’t familiar with the band.
