Marilyn Manson: The High End of Low

4 stars

The ruthless and violent Manson has returned; but this time it’s personal.

Recently, albums from Manson have begun to repeat themselves, holding the same beats, lyrics, and image. But The High End of Low has revamped Marilyn Manson’s image, as he returns to his improved musical niche, adding newfound emotion alongside musical familiarity to keep fans interested. This album has been compared to the 1998 release of Mechanical Animals, the album released at the height of his career. Manson’s heart-filled, violent lyrics show us the full depths of his personality. Manson has created a piece of work that has true purpose, as he opens up and reveals his experiences of love and heartbreak for the first time.
