Mayer Hawthorne bursts onto the music scene.

Mayer Hawthorne is an artist who not only defies all current music trends with his smooth R&B-like style, but who also defies stereotypes. A Strange Arrangement starts off with Prelude, a moody song accompanied by nothing but synthesizers, which melds into the title track, a song that displays Hawthorne’s range. All together Motown-esque, Hawthorne projects images of bands like Earth, Wind & Fire through his romantic songs, and the disc will leave the listener wanting more.
