Modest Mouse: No One’s First,
And You’re Next

4 Stars

EP will likely disappoint Modest Mouse fans.

Modest Mouse has been gaining popularity since the late ’90s, with each new album earning the band more recognition. However, this EP, a collection of B-sides from the band’s previous two albums, Good News for People Who Love Bad News and We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank, is catchy but little else. The majority of the songs are lacking Modest Mouse’s usual wild vocals and blaring instruments, instead sounding more mellow and composed. While the album is disappointing, it’s still worth a listen.

History Sticks To Your Feet.
