NEeMA: Watching You Think

NEeMA draws inspiration from around the globe.

Following her world travels, it is apparent that Montreal-born NEeMA drew inspiration and influences for her musical style from the diversity of cultures that she experienced. Some blues, as well as some Spanish and tribal musical rhythms are scattered throughout her sophomore album. Though far from becoming just a copycat of these unique sounds, NEeMA builds off of them, developing her own individual voice. With her voice and style, her songs resemble lullabies, with a slow, dreamy quality. People who are looking for a song to listen to on a warm, quiet, barefoot and lazy type of afternoon are sure to find at least one of the 12 tracks to their liking.
