The revival of pop-punk!
Fusing mainstream rock and driving rhythms, New Found Glory creates listenable, radio-friendly music. Reminiscent of Green Day, the songs ooze with a youthful pop-punk sound. The album is unified by the theme of heartbreak and rejection. Though some songs are more energetic than others, some listeners may complain that the songs are near carbon copies of one another and that the sameness of both subject matter as well as sound is monotonous. New Found Glory has much room to grow artistically; this band may be in need of a musical scalpel.
