The Pack A.D.: We Kill Computers

3 stars

Any rock fan will enjoy The Pack A.D.'s latest offering.

The Pack A.D. invites us to rekindle our old love for rock ‘n’ roll, with its gritty instrumentals, piercing cymbals, improvised rhythms, and rocked out vocals. This two-piece band truly brings back a fierce wildness from the ‘70s, while incorporating enough electronic sound to be loved by grunge garage fans as well. The band’s latest album, We Kill Computers, captures the listener with lively tracks like Deer and slower tempo songs like They Know Me. Though many of the songs sound similar, an attempt to make each track unique is very present. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this album to any rock and oldies fan; punk rock listeners would also enjoy the energy in this record.
