Sick Puppies: Tri-Polar

3 stars

Edgy personalities, a whirlwind of emotion and racy melodies make up Tri-Polar.

Known best for the music video that sparked countless Free Hugs campaigns around the world, Australian rock group Sick Puppies doesn’t disappoint with its newest album. Tri-Polar features adrenaline-inducing melodies alongside lyrics describing a variety of pent up emotions. With the raw vocals of lead singer, Shimon Moore, and guitar riffs in nearly every song, Sick Puppies effectively express their edgy personalities and write relatable music at the same time. Though this album contains explicit content and is not for everyone, those with darker tastes should definitely give Tri-Polar a listen.
