Famous duo’s first Christmas CD disappoints.

Sugarland’s first seasonal CD has both classic favourites (Silent Night, Winter Wonderland) and new offerings (Little Wood Guitar). The original tracks are well executed and well written, but old favourites do not stand up to the band’s modern renditions. Sugarland infuses classic seasonal tracks with a modern style that just doesn’t seem to work.
