Vancouver-based hip-hop legends release new album after struggle of a lifetime.

Swollen Members have released their third album after going through a rough patch dealing with MC Mad Child's addictions. The boys have yet to fail their fellow Vancouverites with their records and Armed to the Teeth holds Mad Child and Prevail's reckless reputation strong. The beats that flow through the album contain the underground sound that Swollen Members pride themselves on, but the lyrics also have a hint of new age rap. The only downside to their latest collaboration is that their new music features more singsong choruses and less of their likable hard beat. These guys aren't going anywhere, despite their personal struggles.
