Taio Cruz: Rokstarr

Predictable lyrics coupled with average beats is the best description for Taio’s new album.

It seems safe to say that British singer-songwriter and music producer Taio Cruz has talent, but his music seems a little repressed in his sophomore album, Rokstarr. Without the addition of guest artists such as Ludacris, Kesha, and Luciana, this CD probably would’ve been too bland for the dance floor. With two hit singles starting off the CD, this album does seem promising at first. That promise seems to fade a little as the CD progresses, although there are times during some tracks when dancing is inspired. All in all, Taio Cruz’s Rokstarr is just an average collection of songs that can warm up a dance floor, but not keep it going.
