Third release from popular rockers is solid but not much of a surprise.
Three years after the release of the highly successful One-X, Three Days Grace has released its much anticipated third album, Life Starts Now. In typical TDG style, the album features several good songs, some catchy guitar parts, and angry but relatable lyrics that are easy to scream along to. However, although long-time fans are sure to enjoy the album, there’s not too much new and exciting about it. The lyrics are predictable and the overall sound is similar to countless other bands of the genre. In general, the album is a good listen with several solid tracks, but for fans expecting something with a bit more edge, Life Starts Now does fall short.
