Uncle Kracker: Happy Hour

3 stars

Happy Hour is worth the long wait.

With an increased amount of country swag, Kracker’s album consists mostly of upbeat songs speaking generally of love and heartbreak. The two contradicting topics make for some catchy lyrics that range all the way from the gloomy ambition of" “Go ahead and kick me when I’m down, but I’m not leaving it like this” from I’m Not Leaving, to the cheerfulness of: “You make me smile like the sun, fall out of bed, sing like bird” from Smile. After five hard years of work, Uncle Kracker’s fourth studio album is definitely worth a listen; without a doubt, you will indeed "smile" while listening to Happy Hour.

There's no doubt Unkle

There's no doubt Unkle Kracker brings smiles to fan's faces with his unique country sound. I had no idea he had a new album though, hopefully I'll be able to add it to the playlist for happy, catchy tunes!
