Khalifa offers up solid rhymes and dance-worthy beats.
Wiz Khalifa is probably best known for his chart-topping hit single, Black and Yellow, a song which honours his hometown of Pittsburgh’s sports teams and sparked remakes by superstars like Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne featuring their favourite sports teams. On his third album, Rolling Papers, there are surprisingly more than a few slow jams, but Khalifa’s beats still had me singing and dancing along. The lyrics are far from the stereotypical rap topics, touching more on Khalifa's personal experiences of how he achieved his fame, and not just about money and expensive cars.
