2011 MMVAs: The Stars Shine at Canada's Biggest Street Party

Bieber, Drake, Gaga + more! Who were the big winners at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards?

On June 19th, 2011 music’s biggest stars came out to play in Toronto for the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards, celebrating the year’s best in music videos.

Lady Gaga hit the stage for two numbers, opening the event wiith Edge of Glory and closing it with Born This Way.

Co-hosted by pop sweetheart Selena Gomez, the evening featured a surprise appearance from legendary rap artist Snoop Dogg who joined Far East Movement and Dev onstage to perform a medley of hits, featuring Like a G6/Bass Down Low/If I Was You (OMG).

Other performance highlights came from an impressive list of the music world's biggest stars, including Simple Plan, Fefe Dobson, Down With Webster, Avril Lavigne, Bruno Mars, City and Colour and The Black Keys.

And it wasn’t just music superstars in attendance! Hollywood’s hottest came out to present the awards, including Colin Farrell, 90210’s Trevor Donovan and The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev.

But ultimately, it was all about the awards and it was no surprise that superstar Justin Bieber nabbed a couple, including fave new artist and sharing the award for international video of the year with Drake.
