Default: Comes and Goes

3 stars

Another great album from Default.

A more refreshed-sounding album than All That Remains, Default’s previous album, Comes and Goes takes on modern rock with mainstream undertones. All Over Me and Goodbye are the heavier songs on the album, with more distorted guitar and heavier drumming, while Little Too Late and Show Me provide more of a soft, easy-listening experience. With powerful guitars, a strong bass line, steady drums and Dallas Smith’s driving vocals, this album maintains a nicely polished, modern, rock sound for all 11 tracks. Comes and Goes is a good choice if you are looking for a solid rock album.

Titania’s fave track:
All Over Me
