Down With Webster: Time to Win Vol. 1

Indie garage band proves its worth.

Toronto indie band Down with Webster produces an album that creatively defines new musical boundaries with a mix of grinding guitar, bouncy beats and whimsical lyrics. The creative young expressions from all eight members of DWW construct an album full of twists and turns on every track. The opening track Time to Win will have heads nodding to the pounding beats created by a 10-man drum corps. Also worth appreciating in the track is the six-man horn section. However, each track has the same pace, making the album at times dreadfully repetitive. Time to Win Vol. 1 shows us the potential of indie garage bands everywhere.
