Alison Sudol releases a second album that is even better than her debut.

A Fine Frenzy’s talented singer/songwriter Alison Sudol has done something many musicians find difficult to do – make the second album even better than the first. Bomb in a Birdcage is more vibrant and rhythmic than her debut. Her languid voice reaches out through each track, yet manages to express a wilder side. With lyrics such as “You should be wilder, you’re no fun at all,” this album pinpoints Alison’s desire to loosen up and enjoy herself. Overall, this CD offers variety – soothing tracks peppered with exciting surprises create an album worth listening to.
