Jason Michael Carroll: Growing Up is Getting Old

Despite his potential, Carroll has a lot of growing up to do.

It seems that every male country artist must sing at least one song about the wild parties of his rural background; but Carroll’s attempt with the trite and immature Barn Burner is nothing short of obnoxious. However, despite his juvenile claim that Growing Up Is Getting Old, Jason Michael manages to deliver an incredibly sensitive message about parenthood in Tears, proving that he is capable of real emotional depth.
