Jessie Farrell: Good, Pretty and Bad Things

3 stars

Country sweetheart reveals the Good, Bad, and Pretty Things in her life.

Influenced by the sounds of country legends Alison Krauss and Shania Twain, flame-haired songbird Jessie Farrell delivers an honest and emotional album. You Make me Feel, the hit single off her new album, is a charming love song that is every bit as clever and catchy as Let’s Talk About Love. The red-haired beauty reveals a more vulnerable and mature side on this new album by singing about a broken relationship in the violin-strung ballad Sober. Although the album lacks the freshness and originality from her last album, Jessie Farrell still delivers a modest follow up to her debut album.
