The Victoria alt-indie folk band has won the title of BC’s Best Teen Band.
On April 30, 2011, the Top 3 finalists performed live at Tom Lee Music Hall in downtown Vancouver to compete for the grand prize in BC's Best Teen Band Contest. All three bands gave amazing performances, but the judges made the tough decision of selecting The Archers as the best of the best.

Established in 2009, BC's Best Teen Band Contest gives young bands from across the province a chance to showcase their music, connect with key players in the music industry and learn how to advance their music careers.
In October 2010, Youthink, Tom Lee Music and 100.5 The Peak launched the second annual BC’s Best Teen Band Contest. In January 2011, the Top 10 bands were selected by a panel of industry judges. All three of these bands are well deserving of their success in this contest. Their respective sounds are all very unique and strong. I am a big fan of covers with a twist, and that is exactly what The Archers did. Their mash-up of Arcade Fire's "Wake Up" and Victoria's own Aidan Knight's "Jasper" is brilliant. Good job guys!
