Canadian singer’s debut album serves up a unique sound.

The perfect soundtrack for anything from a spring stroll to a moonlit drive, Sea of Stars is a breath of fresh air in the Canadian indie-pop scene. North Vancouver/Victoria based artist Laura Smith’s voice is pure and breathtaking, meshing beautifully with the wide range of instruments used throughout the album’s eight indie-pop/folsky tracks. The songs on this disc will get stuck in the heads of listeners, and whether it’s the title track, Sea of Stars, or the peppy upbeat, Can’t Stop, music-lovers of all ages will find songs to fall in love with.
