Way To Go, Einstein: Pseudonym

3 stars

Vancouver experimental rock band offers up ambient melodies.

The five-piece group known as Way to Go, Einstein has released their second LP on the Submerged Record Label. Pseudonym contains 11 mellow tracks, including the single The Flood. Singer Andrew Carter’s vocals are reminiscent of the band’s influences – you’ll definitely hear hints of Coldplay and Muse. The boys reveal a mysterious poetic edge that reflects the Vancouver indie scene; however, the record lacks originality and memorable songs. If Way To Go, Einstein is your thing, you can catch them on May 29th at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver.

Iesha’s fave track: The Flood
