Strong debut from “Canada’s Rihanna.”

Known for her hit song, Don’t Call Me Baby, one would assume Edmonton-based singer Kreesha Turner would stick to basic love songs and ballads. On her debut album, Passion, however, she explores many different musical genres. Her quiet, sultry voice provides quite a unique contrast in many of her more powerful songs. As different as her songs are from one another, there is one thing that connects them all: passion.
