Miss Thang shows us she’s still standing…but just barely.

Ever since the age of 15 with the 1995 release of her award-winning debut album, Miss Thang, Monica has been a staple in the R&B scene. After a significant break though, Monica has finally released her latest album, Still Standing, with the production of the record tracked by her reality TV series, Monica: Still Standing. Featuring several solid tracks, Still Standing is another decent album from Monica and should meet her fans’ expectations. But with a voice that is easily unrecognizable in our vast music industry accompanied by mediocre music and unoriginal lyrics, she has created an album that isn’t anything too special. Nonetheless, for true fans, her album is not a complete disappointment.
