Canadian reggae super group returns with new release.
Nine Mile’s unique Jahmericana sound is back with a sophomore album, as frontman D’Ari Pouyat once again breaks genre boundaries. Country Porno Electric Fireplace mixes together a diverse combination of songs as eccentric as its name. Nine Mile’s mature sound wavers between folk rock, alternative country and reggae; it is easily the best of all three worlds. The influence of legendary figures Xavier Rudd and Matt York dictates the sound of standout songs Generation Gap and Rise and Stand. After the second listen, quite a few tracks are forgettable. Overall, the album is studded with a few gems (warning – Church is not one of them).

Nine Mile's album review
Personally, I'd give this album 5 stars! I think it gets better and better every time i listen to it. Church is a fantastic song, and frankly i wish that more bands took risks like NM does with their recordings. I was lucky enough to catch this band live in September, and they were mind blowing !
Everyone should take a listen to this...
