Phoenix: Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix

5 stars

Tune in and become part of Phoenix’s Listzomania.

Wolfgang Amadeus Moz… Phoenix is a French band almost as legendary as the famous composer. With their 4th studio album, Phoenix stays true to their always fresh, light, cool and synthy sound with tracks like Lasso and 1901. Lead singer, Thomas Mars’ vocals float through from the beginning of Lisztomania – the single inspired by pianist Frank Liszt – to the very end of Armistice. The band manages to compile songs slow enough to relax to in your room yet fun enough to dance around to at a party. The rare gem of Mars’ voice tangled in cheery beats will keep Phoenix in your iTunes’ Top 25.
