Seattle-grown indie-rock quartet still singing about heartache.
Clean-cut vocals and contagiously clever lyrics are what This Providence is known for. The lovesick lyrics that are begging to be sung along to, on top of the toe-tapping drum loops, could classify this album as one of your average pop-rock records, but soft acoustic ballads add some diversity to the band’s repertoire. However, the album’s common themes of loss and heartbreak and overall sound, don’t make it too memorable.
