Vancouver's Ryan Dahle serves up successful solo debut.
Musician, lyricist and producer Ryan Dahle emerges as a triple threat with his solo album, Irrational Anthems. Dahle, who is best known as a member of Canadian bands Age of Electric and Limblifter sticks with what he knows best rocking a creative, mellow-punk vibe with this modern collection of songs. With help from his musician brother Kurt Dahle, as well as vocalist Megan Bradfield, this album is quite impressive. Although the song titles Agoraphobe, Eek, Its Hallowe'en and Target Practice may initially intrigue you, the actual lyrics can sometimes be confusing and hard to follow. For those who are interested in unique, tap-your-foot worthy songs, Irrational Anthems is a winner.
