Sex and the City 2 soundtrack suffers from thematic confusion.
As Sex and the City is famously known for its sexy and sultry female characters, you don’t quite get the same feel from the soundtrack of the new Sex and the City 2 movie. While there is a good selection of songs by strong female performers to enhance the feminine vibe of the movie (Empire State of Mind (Part II) Broken Down by Alicia Keys and Everything to Lose by Dido), with tracks thrown into the mix by the Sex and the City Men’s Choir, the overall tone of this CD just doesn't flow well. Overall, don’t get too excited about the Sex and the City franchise’s latest release.
