The best of the best featured for charity!

This year’s 2010 Grammy Nominees CD is a winner, containing a good variety of music from three main genres – pop, rock and country. Chances are you’ve heard almost all 20 songs before, such as Lady Gaga’s Poker Face or Beyoncé’s Halo, but if you buy this album, some of the money does go to charity, and you might even end up liking songs you never thought you would. Case in point: the fantastic country song Chicken Fried by Zac Brown Band reeks with old simplistic charm. I do have one complaint though: most of the fast-paced songs are clustered at the beginning and middle of the CD, meaning the energy dissipates around track 15 and never comes back.
